Conveniently located along Interstate 77, Blythewood is an ideal work location. The industrial parks located off Exit 24 include several national and regional distribution and manufacturing centers for companies such as Amcor PET Packaging, Belk, Bose, Koyo USA, Patterson Dental, Spirax Sarco, and Thermal Technologies, Inc. That area is also home to the SC Department of Public Safety and Computer Sciences Corporation, and will soon be home to a Google data center. At Exit 27, you'll find locals working in the many hotels, restaurants, shops and professional offices located in the heart of the Town of Blythewood. Everywhere in between, you'll find all sorts of "cottage" businesses. Supporting them all is the Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce.
